People moving to Miami from out of state often face the challenge of selecting a neighborhood that truly fits their personality and lifestyle. The vast diversity of Miami's neighborhoods, each with its unique character and offerings, can be overwhelming without in-depth local knowledge. There were many challenges I faced within this project which included:
  1. Accurately capturing the essence of each neighborhood.
  2. Finding the right survey tool that would best meet the client's expectations.
  3. Understanding the logic and planning behind survey matchmaking.
The Problem
The Solution
Design and launch an online quiz that asks users about their preferences, lifestyle, and personality traits to match them with a Miami neighborhood. The results incorporate a neighborhood guide for the neighborhood the users get matched with, featuring information on local dining, entertainment, parks, and other amenities, which will be delivered as a PDF upon quiz completion.
Project Kick-off
The initial call with the client allowed me to gain a full understanding of her expectations while giving me a chance to address concerns and questions I had regarding the project:
  • What is your main objective?
Increase marketing and bring awareness to potential Miami residents about who she is and her real-estate services.
  • How would you describe your brand/style?
Very inviting, friendly, simple, classy, luxury, and neutral.
  • What do key metrics for success look like?
Amount of inquiries, participation rate, accurate result rate, and survey drop rate.
  • What is the desired tone of the survey? Will you be working with a copywriter?
The tone of the survey should be funny, surprising, and simple. She is not working with a copywriter.
  • Will you be working with a developer? Are you open to using an existing survey tool?
She will not be working with a developer and wants to find a survey tool that will meet her needs.
